
Ingredients:
2 cup sabudana
2 green chillies
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
3 tsp groundnut powder
salt to taste
2 tsp oil to cook
7to8 curry leaves
1 tsp dessicated coconut
pinch of hing
1/2 tsp sugar
fresh coriander leaves to garnish
Method:
- Soak the sabudana for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Take oil in a kadai, add cumin seeds, pinch of hing, curry leaves and chopped green chillies
- Add soaked sabudana and groundnut powder. add red chili powder, salt and sugar
- Mix it well and cook it with lid closed for 10 to 15 minutes , check and mix often.
- Make sure that the sabudana is cooked thoroughly
- Put coconut powder and coriander leaves to garnish.
Serving Suggestions:
Can be served as a snack, with curd or chutney
Tips:
- Add a little lemon juice according to taste.
- When you soak sabudana , make sure that it doesn't become very soft and stick with each other.
